IT was a fun day for Team Beach Volleyball Republic as it competed in GMA Network's Family Feud on Wednesday.
BVR founders Charo Soriano and Bea Tan, together with Gizelle Tan and AJ Pareja went up against Team Ramp Shakers, which is composed of models and content creators in Genesis Redido, a former college volleyball standout, Ezra Domingo, Mark Wei and Raven Alonzo.
Charo and company were in the zone in the first two rounds by collecting 102 points.
Team BVR continued to dominate, taking the double points round with 218 points, as it kept Team Ramp Shakers without a point.
But Team Ramp Shakers completed the come-from-behind win in the triple points round, logging 249 points to advance to the final round.
Team BVR received praises from Team Ramp Shakers for giving a good fight in the intense but fun contest.
"Competitive talaga beach volleyball players natin," said Genesis.
As host Dingdong Dantes introduced Team BVR, Charo emphasized what Beach Volleyball Republic is all about, giving a platform for aspiring athletes so that the sport will grow.
